Zinc stearate can be used as a reference compound to study the infrared spectra of a colloidal stearate-capped ZnO catalyst substrate for analysing gas adsorption on a colloidal stearate-capped zinc oxide (ZnO) surface. It can also be used to prepare the sample suspension injection required for improving the therapeutic treatment for periodontitis.
